Luxerose Secret Garden is the private tea room and function setting above Luxerose café in the Parnell Rose Gardens. We specialise in tea couture and in creating elegant experiences. Our tea room serves “Tea Bouquets” from Monday-Friday 12pm till 4pm and Saturday-Sunday 2pm till 4pm. Functions can be booked until 11pm.

The Tea Bouquet is our take on a high tea. Your bouquet of sweet and savoury treats is hand made the old-fashioned way by the Jellow Studio and is accompanied by a curated tea selection. Just like a bouquet of flowers, our Tea Bouquets are designed to delight visually as well as tasting exquisite. Have a look at our menu here!

Unfortunately, our bespoke selection of sweets and savouries does not yet accommodate special dietary requirements. We are looking to this more in the future. Have a look at our menu here!

We allow two hours for each party to enjoy a Tea Bouquet. We ask guests to please arrive promptly to allow yourself the full time to relax and indulge in something a little special. We welcome you to enjoy a stroll in the Rose Garden after your Tea Bouquet.
As our Tea Bouquets are freshly handmade to order we cannot accommodate last minute requests, however we welcome you to email or phone us for last-minute bookings and we will contact you if a space becomes available.

Our signature Tea Bouquet experience costs $60/pp with a minimum of two people per booking.

Absolutely, we would be delighted to help celebrate your special day. For larger functions please see our function booking page or give us a call on 09-302-3322 to talk with us about any special requests for your group.
Your deposit confirms your booking and will be deducted from your final bill. We understand plans change and allow bookings to be cancelled or transferred to a later date with at least 24 hours notice. All our Tea Bouquets are hand made to order and only serve the freshest most delicate sweets and savouries. Unlike other High Tea experiences, our menu is not made in bulk and cannot be reused if a booking is cancelled at the last minute.
High Tea reservations cancelled within 24 hours prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking. No-shows will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking. Any significant reduction in confirmed guest numbers (25% or higher) within 24 hours prior to arrival will incur a 50% cancellation fee per person. You may change or amend your booking by emailing us or phoning a minimum of 24 hours prior to your booking. We kindly remind all our guests that changes are subject to availability and are final once confirmed by email.

Dove Myer Robinson Park (Parnell Rose Garden) offers three hours of free parking however these spaces can fill up quickly, especially on weekends. On-street parking is available around Parnell.

CAN WE BRING OUR CHILD/CHILDREN?

Absolutely! We think a Tea Bouquet is the perfect way to spend a morning or afternoon for people of all ages. Children under five can join for free and we offer a special deal of $25 dollars for children aged 6-11. Please click here for our children’s menu.

Our Secret Garden Tea room is located up stairs on the first floor with limited wheelchair access.
Our staff know all the best shots and angles for you to capture the beauty of your Tea Bouquet, please do not hesitate to ask for help with photos. We aim to provide the best possible lighting for all customers, though we can’t control the weather!
